Reaction Agility and Stroke Effect

based on the actual movement characteristics and striking actions of table tennis players, this study designed a reaction agility testing scheme suitable for table tennis using the SpeedCourt agility testing system. The scheme tested athletes’ movement speed, turning time, lateral movement ability on both sides, reaction time of both feet, and lower limb explosive strength to comprehensively evaluate table tennis players’ reaction agility and compared the differences in reaction agility among players of different skill levels. Additionally, by analyzing the impact of reaction agility on stroke effect in different movement scenarios, this study aims to provide a theoretical basis for developing more targeted reaction agility training methods for table tennis players.
