Stage-specific climate and fire effects decouple adult persistence from recruitment in a dryland oak

Field data and R code to reproduce all analyses, figures and tables in the accompanying manuscript. Integral projection models and transient dynamics for Emory oak (Quercus emoryi) at 100 plots spanning the species' U.S. range, with a hierarchical hypothesis-testing framework evaluating nine predictor suites against twelve demographic responses. Plot coordinates are provided at reduced spatial precision (0.25°) at the request of, and in consultation with, Western Apache Tribal partners, consistent with the CARE Principles for Indigenous Data Governance; all other variables are complete.
