Population genetic analysis of Cryptomeria japonica using amplicon sequencing data. Cryptomeria japonica

Cryptomeria japonica, Japanese cedar, belonging to Cuppressacae is important conifer tree in Japan. Four genetic clusters of population have been recognized in this species. We chose one representative population from each cluster. We used amplicon sequencing to analyze more than 100 nuclear genes in these populations to find candidate loci under selection and to infer the demographic history of the populations.
