The Effect of Negative Written Emotional Disclosure on Eye Movements, Balance and Depression Symptoms of Anxious Athletes

This study examines the effects of written emotional disclosure on physiological and psychological outcomes, including: changes in eye movement patterns (duration of fixations, number of fixations, duration of saccades, number of blinks, and rate); static balance (changes in center of pressure in the anterior-posterior direction, changes in center of pressure in the lateral-internal direction, and overall static balance index); and depressive symptoms among anxious athletes.
