Survey results - intern perceptions of language training during 2nd year of MBChB

Interns who graduated from UCT were survey during their community service to determine their perceptions of the language training they received while in the 2nd year of MBChB studies. We wanted to determine how useful the training was in relation to the context in which they found themselves for where they were doing community service. This was a longitudinal study that run from 2008 to 2013. Descriptive analysis was done the quantitative data and thematic analysis of the open ended question. A journal article was written based on the data collected here but it is still a work in progress.
