To investigate how various histone modifications influence gene expression, transcriptome sequencing was performed on secondary hair follicle stem cells (SHFSCs) collected in parallel with the ChIP-seq samples, and the resulting data could be integrated with ChIP-seq for joint analysis. Overall design: Secondary hair follicle stem cells (SHFSCs) were isolated and cultured from the dorsal skin of cashmere goat during the early anagen (April) and mid anagen (October) phases. RNA sequencing was conducted on cells from both phases, with two biological replicates per phase (male or female samples).
