Bangladesh Daily Electricity Demand, Generation and Load-Shedding Dataset (2016–2026)

Machine-readable reconstruction of the daily operational reports of the Bangladesh power system, extracted from the public publications of the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) and the National Load Dispatch Centre (NLDC). Includes 2,469 days (2019-10-19 to 2026-08-01) of national daily system operation (peak demand and generation, energy, load shedding / unserved energy), 9-zone demand and load shedding back to 2016, per-power-station generation with attributed shortfall reasons, per-substation evening peak load, BPDB's own day-ahead demand forecast (2,428 days), and a joined ERA5 weather panel. Extraction is validated against accounting identities internal to the source (energy balance holds to machine precision on all 578 checkable days) and against an independent second publication channel. Contains all extraction and scraping code (MIT) and per-document provenance manifests. Data tables CC-BY 4.0. Cite BPDB/NLDC as the source of the underlying records.
