Catalogue of Merger Classifications and Physical Properties in the COSMOS-Web Field

This catalogue accompanies the publication: "The major merger-active galactic nucleus connection up to the cosmic noon", La Marca A., Margalef-Bentabol B., Wang L., et al., (2026). It provides merger classifications and physical properties for selected galaxies in the COSMOS-Web field, based on multi-wavelength photometry and SED fitting. The catalogue is available in both CSV and FITS formats. The sample of galaxies is stellar mass complete up to z=2, and includes 13 789 galaxies. The parent catalogue, COSMOS2020, is presented in Weaver et al. (2022). The SED fitting exploited rich multi-wavelength datasets, from X-ray to far-infrared and sub-millimetre (Wang et al. 2024). We refer the user to the associated publication for full details on both the SED fitting set-up and the morphological classification. For detailed documentation, including selection criteria, caveats, and usage examples, please refer to the included README file. The source catalogue includes IDs and sky coordinates from the COSMOS2020 catalogue.
