资源简介:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic carbon dioxide made by Michel Frankignoulle during the Belgica 9919A research cruise in the Bay of Biscay, North-East Atlantic as part of the Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (JGOFS) and the Ocean Margin EXchange (OMEX) programmes. The cruise began on 30th August 1999 and ended on 3rd September 1999 with a spatial coverage of +47N to +48N latitude and +7W longitude. The data consists of: -30 measurements of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) in the water column, computed from pH and alkalinity; and -30 measurements of the concentration of carbon (total inorganic) (TCO2) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase), computed from pH and alkalinity. See below for further details.
