Mechanical waste management in a gravel-sand filter system using energy biomass of Miscanthus giganteus

This dataset comprises the findings of a field experiment with soil amended with mechanical wastes (i.e. road deposited sediments) that had significant levels of heavy metals. Miscanthus giganteus energy biomass and soil biochar addition were employed for phytoremediation. The response and phytoremediation impact of Miscanthus giganteus were evaluated after a short rotation. The research examines Miscanthus growth, plant stress indicators, and the overall impact of soil and waste remediation.
