资源简介:
"An Electronic Health Record (EHR) is an evolving concept defined as a systematic collection of electronic health information about individual patients or populations. It is a record in digital format that is theoretically capable of being shared across different health care settings and it include a range of data like demographics, medical history, medication and allergies, immunization status, laboratory test results, radiology images, vital signs, personal statistics like age and weight, and more. In many cases this sharing can occur by way of network-connected enterprise-wide information systems and other information networks or exchanges. The healthcare community generally agrees that improved use of accurate, current, and clearly understood health information is essential to the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective healthcare. The benefits of this include improved clinical documentation and customer service, more efficient clinical workflows, improved medication management, and reduced transcription and labor costs .The healthcare industry has traditionally underutilized technology as a means of improving the delivery of patient care. Even today, organizations still rely on paper medical records and handwritten notes to inform and make decisions. Digital information is collated and kept between departments and applications, making access to a patient's longitudinal record difficult, if not impossible ."
