资源简介:
Due to the interplay between quantum fluctuations and geometric frustrations, geometrically frustrated magnet exhibits a large degeneracy of the ground state and demonstrates exotic properties, such as fractional magnetization platform and so on. As a 2D magnetic frustrated system, the Shastry-Sutherland lattice (SSL) represents one of the few exactly solvable ground states. Materials that exhibit the SSL are of interest due to their potential to host QSL states. As a QSL candidates, Nd2Be2SiO7 comprises the frustrated SSL of Nd3+ moments. The susceptibility remains relatively flat down to 0.07 K, suggesting the absence of clear long-range magnetic ordering. . We want to apply inelastic neutron scattering to study the ground state and spin dynamics of the GS, which will help us to reveal the complex interaction in Nd2Be2SiO7 and provide vital links between macroscopic properties and microscopic mechanism.
