Dataset of physiological, morphometric and urban stressor variables in passerine birds from urban habitats in Santiago, Chile

This dataset contains morphometric, physiological, and environmental data from passerine birds sampled in urban environments of Santiago, Chile. The data were collected as part of a research project aimed at evaluating the physiological condition and health of birds inhabiting urban habitats. Birds were captured using mist nets in two urban sites of the Santiago Metropolitan Region: Rinconada de Maipú and the campus of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Peñalolén). Sampling was conducted between May and July 2025. The dataset includes measurements of body condition, morphometric traits, physiological biomarkers, and environmental variables associated with urban stressors. These data allow exploration of relationships between urban environmental conditions and physiological responses in wild birds.
