Use of TIPA in UEO-concrete

The attempts made to dispose Used Engine Oils (UEOs) in concrete are not very promising, mainly because of the increased air entrainment and drop in mechanical strengths.Triisopropanolamine (TIPA) is an organic ethanolamine commonly used to neutralize the clinker surface charges during grinding and foster the cement hydration kinetics and formation of hydrated products. This dataset assesses the efficiency of incorporating TIPA to control the loss in strength in concrete mixtures containing UEOs.
