We submitted the paper “Phenotypic and start codon targeted (SCoT) polymorphism reveal genetic variation of C. bretshneideri and other hawthorn species (Crataegus spp.) originating from China”to Annals of Forest Science, and a comparative assessment of phenotypic and molecular evaluations was applied to explore genetic variation behind C. bretschnesideri and other Crataegus species for providing the basis for inter-specific relationship. Otherwise, five new  designed SCoT markers were effective applied in the study of Crataegus genetic diversity.
