We examined gene flow patterns and genetic diversities of peripheral populations of crown-of-thorns starfish Acanthaster planci (COTS) known to show high dispersal ability and maintain well connected populations in the Indo-Pacific Ocean. We applied RADseq analysis which easily enables us to use genome wide SNPs loci to examine genetic diversity and migration of COTS populations along the Kuroshio Current including core and peripheral populations.
