A higher number of women than men were tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iceland as of June 22, 2020. The number of men who were confirmed infected was 908 and the number of women was 916. The first case of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iceland was confirmed on February 28, 2020.
