Evolutionary history and ecology of newly described mining bees of the genus Andrena

Andrena is a species rich genus of bees, yet many more species remain to be described to science. This project intends to describe three new species of Andrena and establish the phylogenetic position of the new species. To this end, we carried out medium coverage whole genome sequencing and embedded the species into a phylogenomic framework of previously published UCE sequence data.
