Data and Code for: Megafires in Mediterranean Europe: The Compound Role of Fire Weather and Drought

This repository contains the data and code used to reproduce the analyses and figures presented in the study “Megafires in Mediterranean Europe: The Compound Role of Fire Weather and Drought.” The project investigates the role of meteorological anomalies and drought conditions in shaping the occurrence and escalation of large wildfire events across Mediterranean Europe.
