Bangladeshi Dry Food Dataset

The “Bangladeshi Dry Food Dataset” is a collection of 16,800 processed high-quality images representing 48 distinct classes of dry foods. There are 21 main classes along with many sub classes under these classes, making a total of 48 distinct classes. Each food class is stored in a separate folder and these pictures were taken with a high definition camera on a cell phone (Iphone 13). This dataset contains images of classes in different lighting conditions along with different backgrounds. It can be used for building machine learning models for classification and recognition of Bangladeshi Dry Foods based on appearance. Bangladeshi Dry Food classification algorithm can be trained, tested and validated using this dataset. Also this dataset can be beneficial for Bangladeshi dry food research and education purposes.
