Dataset for FNTiv-induced CR Responses

Intravenous bolus injection of overdose fentanyl triggers ventilatory arrest and sudden death in illicit users, but the relevant mechanisms remain unknown. Results in this study establish a rat model of sudden death, in which intravenous bolus injection of overdose fentanyl-induced a long-lasting apnea mediated by vagal sensory C-fibers, contributing to the sudden death.
