Aquatic insect biomass across salinity gradient

This dataset contains tabular data on freshwater benthic macroinvertebrates and emergent adult insects from six headwater streams with varying levels of mining-induced salinization in the central Appalachian region of Virginia, USA. These data are in association with a Master's Thesis project and results are accepted for publication with the Journal of Freshwater Science. This work is not a product of the United States Government or the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
