Offshore Commercial Fishing Blocks - Pre Jan 1, 2025 - R7 - CDFW [ds3148]

Starting in 1983, these large commercial fishing catch areas (blocks) were used in reporting fishing activity in California and they were discontinued on January 1, 2025. These broad areas are defined by latitudinal ranges extending from the shoreline offshore to the Exclusive Economic Zone (200 nm). These features, with block ID between 1030 and 1042 overlap with and should be use in conjunction with Commercial Fishing Blocks (pre Jan 1, 2025) - R7 – CDFW [ds3093].
