Public Shoreline Stabilization Structures (2015 Update CZM)

DCR seeks to identify the capacity of Massachusetts coastal structures to resist major coastal storms and prevent storm damage. Towards this end, the agency initiated a program to perform an inventory and general condition assessment of Commonwealth owned and/or maintained coastal structures. The Massachusetts Coastal Infrastructure Inventory and Assessment data was developed for Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) by Bourne Consulting Engineering. The data includes coastal structures along the coast of Massachusetts represented by line features with attributes containing details of their condition.
