Reddit posts asking which business software to use, by category and subreddit, 2025 to 2026

Every Reddit post from October 2025 to September 2026 whose title names one of 12 business software categories (CRM, email marketing, cold email and prospecting, web analytics, project management, SEO tools, accounting, help desk, social media scheduling, website builders, HR and payroll, workflow automation) together with a buying phrase (16,333 posts), labeled by AI as a buyer question, a pitch or other, with reply speed, share with no reply and estimated share of replies from sellers per category and subreddit. Bots, NSFW, removed and deleted posts excluded. Source: KissMyPost analysis of public Reddit posts and comments. The same reply measures for every subreddit with at least 3 questions in a category. reddit-software-buyer-questions-labels-2025-2026.csv: Every label, 16,333 posts. One row per post: Reddit ID, month, subreddit, both AI labels, the arbiter's label where there was one, the final label and category. No titles and no account names. Method: Title match on a software category and a buying phrase; each title labeled twice by an AI model, disagreements settled by a larger model, a blind sample checked by a third run; replies counted from comments, seller replies by a word list corrected by an AI-checked sample. Measured: Reddit posts asking which software to use, by category; Reddit posts pitching software, by category; Median minutes to the first reply; Share of questions with no reply; Estimated share of top-level replies from sellers. reddit-software-buyer-questions-labels-2025-2026.csv: one row per public Reddit post ID with the label it received; no user names or post text.
