资源简介:
Guava are difficult to store, easily decays and prematurely senescence after harvest. Ascorbic acid (AsA) and melatonin (MT) is widely applied to preserve a multiplicity of postharvest fruits and vegetables. Studies have shown that guavas treated with MT and lychee fruits treated with AsA both can elevate the postharvest quality of fruits. This research sought to explore the regulatory effects of combined AsA + MT(AM) treatment on postharvest preservation of guava. Using 'Pearl' guava as the test material, guavas were immersed in distinct treatment solutions for 10 minutes, air-dried naturally, and then stored for 8 days. A systematic analysis was conducted on fruit storage quality, antioxidant activity, and indices related to cell wall metabolism throughout storage.
