Our aim is to conduct operando SAXS 2D-mapping experiments where Drug Delivery Systems (DDS) are formulated within a microfluidic Lab-On-Chips device. For this, a new generation of fully 3D printed microfluidic chips were designed using X-ray transparent resins and recent developments stereolithography, that drastically reduces the costs for galenic applications. The formulation path of Lipid Nano Capsules (LNCs) over a low energy spontaneous emulsification process will be studied in-situ within different microfluidic elements (beginning from a flow focusing region of oil in water where the phase inversion in composition starts, U turns and integrated passive 3D HC micromixers). In this way the low energy nanoemulsification process is optimized from the chip design, molecules compositions and flow rates, in order to reach stable hydrophobic DDS in water with diameters tuned from 20 to 140nm and high reproducibility.
