资源简介:
File with raw data from mesocosm and laboratory experiments. Attack and consumption rates of guppies (invasive) and Phalloceros harpagos (native) were analyzed. We expected that guppies will present higher attack and consumption rates than P. harpagos. However, both species presented the same attack rates and P. harpagos presented higher consumption rates. Also, the resource use of both species was analyzed in mesocosm experiments with a population and an individual approach. In the population analysis, we were expecting to see high amounts of resources in guppies gut content. However, both species presented the same quantities of resources in their guts. In the individual analysis, we were expecting a higher intraspecific variability for guppies in the post-invasion scenario compared to P. harpagos, which were expected to present low intraspecific variability. However, both species reacted in the same way, reducing their intraspecific variability.
