The study of GPR15L and GPR15 and their interaction in CRC. Functional assays, including proliferation, drug resistance, colony formation, tumour spheroid formation, and migration assay, were done to investigate the outcome of modulating expression of either GPR15L and GPR15, as well as treatment of cells with secreted GPR15L. In vivo study of GPR15L overexpression in tumour cells subcutaneously injected into immunodeficient mice was used to identify its tumour-suppressive effect. Correlations between GPR15L expression in CRC or normal adjacent tissues and patient clinical characteristics were identified. Western blot was performed to analyse the change in protein expression upon change in GPR15L and GPR15 expression.
