The invention includes an accessory (100) for adding a compartment or compartments to the load compartment (104) of the vehicle (101). The load compartment has longitudinal sides and one or more banks (105) transverse to the longitudinal axis of the cargo space and the column ends have vertical posts (106). The accessory has a mounting arrangement (107)， an elongate support member (106) and a separation post (109). The mounting arrangement and the separation post are attached to the ends of the support member. With the mounting part， the accessory is attached to a vertical post. When attached， the accessory can be placed in a first position in which the support part is parallel to the longitudinal side of the load compartment and in a second position in which the support part is parallel to the bank body and the separation post forms a compartment in the load compartment.
