Stenotrophomonas indicatrix DAI2m/c genome sequencing

The Stenotrophomonas indicatrix DAI2m/c strain is potentially able to degrade polystyrene. Based on this, the current study explores the genetic profile of the newly isolated S. indicatrix strain DAI2m/c through genome sequencing and annotation. The aim is to identify genes encoding enzymes that are part of the intracellular metabolic pathways responsible for breaking down the styrene monomer.
