VPRS 11248 Internal Report Registers I

These registers were a control record for internal reports prepared by Harbour Trust officers. The officers included:- Secretary- Residential Engineer- Inspector of Dredging and Transport- Harbour Master- Chief Engineer- Treasurer- Inspector of Timber.The reports were forwarded to relevant committees for consideration.Although the reports are no longer extant, the registers provide summary information.Each entry provides a description of the subject and how the report was dealt with, that is, the name of the particular committee that considered the matter and the date of referral to that committee. The committees to which matters were referred were principally the Finance, Legislative and Lands Committee and the Works, Dredging and Stores Committee.
