This original data is on Group of 77 membership, Non-Aligned Movement membership and One China Policy choices for each United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) member by year (1971-1990).
It was created for the following article:
Takahashi, Tomoko. 2025. “Two Questions of Sovereignty: China and the Third World Countries in the United Nations General Assembly (1971-1990)”, Global Studies Quarterly.
The actual article combines the abovementioned data to the UNGA voting data from the following, and calculates the ratio of those that sided with the People’s Republic of China by resolution.
