Repeats of the 147 bp 601 in vitro nucleosome positioning sequence were assembled in a yeast chromosome according to three theoretical NRL (167, 197 and 237 bp). Nucleosome positioning in vivo over the three arrays was verified by MNase-seq analysis. This study was complemented by RNA-seq analysis to verify the transcription status of the arrays.
