Searchable registry-derived database of wound-related clinical trials from ClinicalTrials.gov

This dataset contains a registry-derived database of wound-related clinical trials retrieved from ClinicalTrials.gov. Eleven wound-related registry search exports were retrieved from ClinicalTrials.gov, corresponding to the following wound categories: diabetic foot ulcer, venous leg ulcer, pressure injury, pressure ulcer, burn wounds, surgical wounds, arterial ulcer, ischemic ulcer, mixed leg ulcer, traumatic wound, and donor site wound. The registry exports were consolidated into a unified dataset and deduplicated using the ClinicalTrials.gov unique study identifier (NCT number). The final dataset contains 9,705 unique clinical trial records. The dataset includes registry metadata fields such as study title, recruitment status, study type, clinical development phase, enrollment size, study start date, study completion date, intervention description, sponsor information, and study locations. Two files are provided: 1. wound_studies_master_compiled.xlsx Human-readable dataset containing the consolidated registry metadata. 2. wound_studies_unique_mysql.sql Relational database structure and data used to implement a MySQL database supporting a searchable web interface. The database has been implemented in a MySQL relational database environment and connected to a PHP-based search interface available at: https://healthsmrjournal.com/evidence/search.php This dataset supports reproducible analyses of the global clinical research landscape for wound-related conditions and enables development of evidence discovery tools for wound research.
