The enzymatic hydrolysis of the cellulose component has been acknowledged as one of the bottlenecks for the biorefinery of lignocellulosic biomass, and abundant studies have been focused on cellulase production from Trichodema reesei, especially on the well-known hyper-cellulase producer T. reesei RUT C30, which is one of the most widely used fungal for production of cellulolytic enzymes. The objective of this study was to analyze the transcriptional profiling of T. reesei grown in presence of the mixture of glucose-disaccharide (MGD) and lactose as inducer using RNA-seq approach.
