Ontological categorization of 49 putative toxin transcripts. The M. pendula transcripts that were shown to have homology to venoms found in Hydra, other cnidarians, and/or the UniProt animal toxin database are shown. This includes function of matched toxin, domain structural analysis, and gene ontology (biological process, molecular function, cellular component). Sixteen of 49 toxins were observed to contain signal peptides. (XLSX 34 kb)
