Expenditure and service level data for water supply systems and sanitation facilities in Burkina Faso

This folder contains expenditure and service level data for water supply systems and sanitation facilities in Burkina Faso. Additionally a sample of the survey tools used to collect this data are provided.Data was collected in nine rural and peri-urban service areas spanning three regions of Burkina Faso: Centre, Haute-Bassins and Nord. More than 2,500 household surveys were conducted across all nine service areas allowing for a comparison of expenditure and service levels. The sample size and distribution were designed to illustrate the Burkina Faso context, but do not represent a statistically significant sample of the regional or national reality.
