Allotment land, public open space, green field, protected land, allotments act 1908, public garden, community garden sites are freehold by Rother District Council, lease in place for majority of sites to Parish Councils, Associations and Community Interest Groups, lease duration ranges from 25 years to 99 years Plots measured in meters sq, majority of plots at the sites are under 25 meters sq. Sites have a range of plots, from 1 up to 55 Fees are in place from plots. Majority of land is protected under the Allotments Act - desginated for allotment garden use only
