This series was created by the Mining Warden of the Landsborough Mining Division (also known as the Barkly Mining Division). It was used to register the despatch of letters sent. Each entry records the date the item was sent, to whom and a summary of its contents. Each item sent was registered by the allocation of a running number for the year.
