## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from the Geoscience Australia, 1 second SRTM Digital Elevation Model (DEM) dataset. The source dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nThis data is an extract from the 1 second hydrologically enforced SRTM, clipped to a rectangle to take in the extent of the BA_SYD bioregion and its contributing subcatchments (BA_SYD_DEMh1sec). \n\n\n\nThe data is extracted from\n\nGeoscience Australia, 1 second SRTM Digital Elevation Model (DEM)\n\nGUID: 9a9284b6-eb45-4a13-97d0-91bf25f1187b\n\n\n\nThree additional layers are derived from this data for hydrological analysis and catchment delineation. They are:\n\nBA_SYD_DEMh1sec_fill: as above but with sinks filled\n\nBA_SYD_FDIR: Flow direction\n\nBA_SYD_FACC: Flow accumulation.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nHydrological analysis and contribution catchment delineation\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThis data is an extract from the 1 second hydrologically enforced SRTM, clipped to a rectangle to take in the extent of the BA_SYD bioregion and its contributing subcatchments (BA_SYD_DEMh1sec). \n\n\n\nThe data is extracted from Geoscience Australia, 1 second SRTM Digital Elevation Model (DEM) using the Spatial Analyst "Extract by Rectangle" tool snapped to the source raster.\n\nGUID: 9a9284b6-eb45-4a13-97d0-91bf25f1187b \n\n\n\nThree additional layers are derived from the extracted DEM using the respective Tools in the ArcGIS Spatial Analyst-> Hydrology toolset.
