Data contains:
Profile 1-hour dead fuel moisture content: the litter layer down to the soil, including leaves, bark, twigs (<6 mm). Does not include duff layer.
Duff dead fuel moisture content: Sampled if present. Partly decomposed fuel on the soil surface.
Suspended 1-hour dead fuel moisture content: (<6 mm diameter) dead material suspended off the ground, includes leaves, bark, and twigs suspended in shrubs.
Suspended 10-hour dead fuel moisture content: (6-25 mm diameter) dead material suspended off the ground, generally fallen branches, detached from plant and not touching the ground.
Note, some samples include free water, and thus the moisture content values extend beyond the fibre saturation point (~35%).
