资源简介:
Small non-coding RNAs (sncRNAs), including microRNAs and piRNAs, play crucial roles in regulating gene expression in cancer, influencing key processes such as cell proliferation, apoptosis, and metastasis. This also includes piR-1254, a 32 nucleotides long non-coding RNA. Here it is shown that piR-1254 has a broad influence on the expression of more than 2000 different genes. The expression of half of the genes is reduced and that of the other half is increased. Overall design: To investigate the influence of piR-1254 on differential expression in the Neuroblastoma cell line Kelly, the cells were reverse transient transfected with piR-1254 or piR-Ctrl as control. 48 h after transfection, the RNA was harvested and a total RNA-seq was performed.
