Transcriptomic profile of primary culture of skeletal muscle cells isolated from semitendinosus muscle of bulls of different performance

The goal was to examine and compare the transcriptomic profiles of primary muscle cell cultures (80% confluence) isolated from skeletal muscle (m. semitendinosus) derived from bulls belonging to different breeds and showing different levels of performance. Comparison of transcriptomic profiles of proliferating muscle cell cultures isolated from skeletal muscle (m. semitendinosus) from beef breed (Limousin - LIM and Hereford - HER) vs. dairy breed (Holstein Friesian - HF) - used as a control. Each comaprison was performed in four biological repetitions.
