Metrolink Impact Study : Rail User Survey, 1990

(i) Various aspects of travel behaviour (especially choice of travel mode) and travel demand, and<br>
(ii) On changes in economic activity and land uses (such as retailing, offices, leisure facilities).<br><B>Main Topics</B>:<BR><br>Origin postcode; boarding station and time; waiting and travelling times; alighting station; destination postcode; access to and egress from stations; journey purpose and frequency; car availability and driving licence; rail ticket type; personal information: gender, age, employment status, social class; mode of travel used for equivalent journey in 1990 (B and C only); mode of transport to be used on the return journey (C only).
