Genomic Analysis of Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcaceae Isolated from Livestock Animals

This project aims to investigate the genomic characteristics of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcaceae strains isolated from livestock animals. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcaceae pose a significant public health concern due to their resistance to multiple antibiotics. By sequencing and analyzing the genomes of these isolates, we seek to better understand the genetic basis of antimicrobial resistance and the potential for interspecies transmission. This research holds promise for informing strategies to mitigate the spread of resistant strains and safeguard both animal and human health.
