资源简介:
This dataset contains the initial design and the optimized design of two graph and heuristic based topology optimizations. The examples deal with the optimization of fiber reinforced thermoplastic profile structures in a crashworthiness application. The optimization problem aims for lowering the mass while limiting the intrusion of a drop weight, that impacts the profile laterally. Additional manufacturing constraints are specified in a config file, which guarantees, that the designs can be manufactured in a tape winding process. OptimizationWithMultipleShellLayers_2020_07 uses a modelling approach with stacked shell layers, that are connected by solid adhesive elements. OptimizationWithSingleShellLayer_2021_11 only uses single shell layers, since it improves the predictive quality of the finite element simulation. The optimization method has been improved in the second optimization, the drop weights mass has been increased and the material has been updated based on additional performed tests. The results in this Dataset are from the project "Development of a material model suited for topology and shape optimization of crash structures made of thermoplastic fiber reinforced composites" (DFG-No. Schu915/3-1, project number 328966238). The authors express their thanks to the German Research Foundation (DFG) for the support of this research project.
