Preferred strategies for complying with K-ETS South Korea 2023

When asked about their most preferred strategy for complying with the obligation to surrender emissions permits under the national emissions trading scheme in a survey in South Korea in 2023, around 80 percent of respondents answered that they would like to purchase emission permits from the market. Only nine percent of respondents answered that they would prefer paying penalties for exceeding the allocated emissions.
