资源简介:
Introduction: These data accompany the manuscript titled "Radiative effects of inter-annually varying versus inter-annually invariant aerosol emissions from fires" by B. S. Grandey, H.-H. Lee, and C. Wang (Atmos. Chem. Phys. Discuss., accepted for discussion). Please refer to the manuscript for details. File size warning: These files are relatively large. Contents:15x gzipped NetCDF files (bb*_o2000.nc.gz) containing data derived from the output files of the prescribed-SST simulations described by Grandey et al. (ACPD, 2016):- bb0_o2000 corresponds to simulation F0.- bb1997_o2000 corresponds to simulation F1997, bb1998_o2000 corresponds to simulation F1998 etc.. These ten simulations are referred to as the {Fyyyy} ensemble. - bb9706_o2000 corresponds to simulation FMEAN.- bc9706_o2000 corresponds to simulation BMEAN.- oc9706_o2000 corresponds to simulation OMEAN.- so9706_o2000 corresponds to simulation SMEAN. Inside these data files, the subscript "_d1" refers to clean-sky fluxes. "cDRE", "cCRE", and "cFNTOA" refer to the direct radiative effect, net cloud RFP, and net total RFP respectively. "cPRECT" refers to total (large-scale plus convective) precipitation. All other variables contain explanatory "long_name" attribute metadata. NetCDF file format: All files have been compressed using gzip. After unzipping, all files will end with ".nc", the extension for NetCDF format, a binary data format commonly used for climate model output data. These NetCDF files contain metadata which aid interpretation of the data. The metadata and data can be explored using the free Panoply software tool (http://www.giss.nasa.gov/tools/panoply/ [25-July-2016]). Contributions: B.S.G. designed the experiment, performed the simulations, analysed the data, and wrote the manuscript (Grandey et al., ACPD, 2016). H.H.L. and C.W. contributed to the experimental design, analysis methodology, and redrafting of the manuscript.Acknowledgements:This research was supported by the National Research Foundation (NRF), Prime Minister's Office, Singapore under its Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE) programme.
