We set out to study the immune landscape of the mouse bladder by single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq), especially the heterogeneity of bladder-resident macrophages. Identifying TRM subsets in the bladder and specifying the distinct function of each subpopulation would therefore be essential for a comprehensive understanding of the immune responses during UTIs. Overall design: Bladder single cell was isolated from naïve adult mice, CD45+ immune cells were sorted (FACS) and analyzed using scRNAseq.
